    The Research and Education Center for Lifelong Learning was established in 2003 to encourage adult education through collaboration with the community. Based on the intellectual resources accumulated in Kagoshima University, the Center provides extension lectures, seminars and symposiums in accordance with the community's needs. In addition, the Center provides the community with opportunities for the recurrent education of its leaders in various fields and conducts research projects with the community.
