Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate Students are those students who are admitted as regular students to undergraduate courses of faculties. They can obtain bachelor's degrees after taking designated credits. Their regular period of study is 4 years or 6 years (the latter in the cases of the School of Medicine, the Dental School, and the Department of Veterinary Medicine in the Faculty of Agriculture.)

Applicants who are of foreign nationality (who do not have a permanent visa living in Japan) can apply if they have or be able to have a residential qualification which does not hinder the university entrance.
It is also necessary to take a test of designated subjects in The Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) conducted by the JASSO (including oversea examinations). Please refer the details to the web page of the Admission Division of Kagoshima University.
