鹿児島大学北米教育研究センター「第２回国際科学技術フォーラム」のご案内

鹿児島大学北米教育研究センター（在：米国サンノゼ市）では、来る6月29日（月）に、現地において、「第2回国際科学技術フォーラム」を開催します。
本フォーラムは、鹿児島大学で行われている優れた研究や技術を、広く世界の平和と繁栄及び地球環境のために活用し普及させることを目的として、2008年1月に第1回国際技術移転フォーラムとして開催されたものを、今回からは、「国際科学技術フォーラム」として開催するものです。
本学からは、安部淳一副学長（産学官連携担当）及び西尾正則教授（理工学研究科）が参加し、西尾教授による基調講演等が行われる予定です。

The 2nd International Science and Technology Forum
Kagoshima University North American Center will hold “‘The 2nd International Science and Technology Forum” on Monday, June 29, 2009 in Palo Alto, California. The forum is an expansion of the “1st International Technology Transfer Forum” which was first held in January 2008 in San Jose, and aims to contribute to world peace, prosperity of human society and global environment with the help of many academic progress and technology advancements by Kagoshima University.
Dr. Junichi Abe, Vice-president for Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration will attend this forum and Dr. Masanori Nishio, Professor of Kagoshima University Graduate School for Science and Engineering will make a keynote lecture titled “Applications and possibilities of K-Sat: Kagoshima”.
