NOTICE:　COVID-19 Vaccine Booster Shots (3rd Dose)

The booster shot will be given to those who have received the second dose of the primary COVID-19 vaccine.

At present, we are preparing to accept reservations through the reservation system in the same way as we did for the two inoculations conducted in the workplace.

For those who wish to receive additional vaccinations, please apply through the reservation system that will be announced later.

Due to the availability of vaccines provided by the government, only the Moderna vaccine will be used for the COVID-19 booster dose at the Kagoshima University Korimoto Campus.

In addition, when you come to receive the booster dose, you will need to bring the vaccination voucher sent to you by the municipality.

It is not necessary to have received a vaccination voucher when you make the appointment.

Please note that vaccination is not compulsory. You will not be disadvantaged because you did not receive the vaccination.

In addition, the COVID-19 vaccine / booster dose vaccines should not be given simultaneously with any other vaccines. Wait for a period of at least 14 days after the administration of another vaccine before administering a COVID-19 vaccine. Please consult your doctor for details.

Eligible Persons:

①         Students, faculty and staff of Kagoshima University who have completed the second dose of COVID-19 vaccination regardless of the place of vaccination and wish to receive an additional dose at the Korimoto Campus.

②          Those who are not students or faculty members of Kagoshima University (including those who will graduate or retire after April 2022) who have received the first or second dose of COVID-19 vaccine at Kagoshima University and have completed the second dose, and wish to receive an additional dose at the Korimoto Campus.

③          Those who belong to other universities or vocational schools etc., who have been vaccinated through the workplace vaccination program at Kagoshima University, and have completed the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine regardless of the place of vaccination, and wish to receive an additional dose at the Korimoto Campus.

Additional Vaccination Period

March 28 (Monday), 2022　～　April 8     (Friday), 2022

April 25 (Monday), 2022　～　 May 13    (Friday), 2022

May  30 (Monday), 2022　～　June 10    (Friday), 2022

Excludes weekends and holidays.

Operating hours are:  from 10:00 to 11:30 (morning)

from 14:00 to 15:30 (afternoon)

Reservation Period: “Currently under adjustment”

Vaccination site: Kagoshima University Learning Exchange Plaza (same as the venue for the previous workplace inoculation)
