Message to those affected by the Earthquake in Central Myanmar and Bangkok, Thailand

We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the victims of the earthquake in central Myanmar and Bangkok, Thailand on 28 March 2025, and our heartfelt sympathy to all those affected.

Kagoshima University has established inter-university and inter-departmental academic exchange agreements with three universities in Myanmar and eleven universities in Thailand, fostering deeper friendship through student exchange and international academic collaboration.

Kagoshima University will collaborate with relevant domestic and international organizations to support Myanmar and Thailand in achieving the earliest possible recovery.
