International Student Homecoming Day in Kagoshima 2025

As part of our efforts to build the global network of former international students, Kagoshima University will host the "Kagoshima University International Student Homecoming Day."

This memorable inaugural gathering will be held at the Korimoto Campus of Kagoshima University.
We warmly encourage you to invite your friends and join us in returning to Kagoshima University. Current international students are also welcome.

We look forward to your participation. And to a day of reconnecting with fellow alumni, meeting teachers and university staff, and engaging with present students.

Kagoshima University International Student Homecoming Day in Kagoshima 2025

• Date: Saturday, December 20, 2025, 11:00-15:00
• Venue: Student Community Plaza, Korimoto Campus, Kagoshima University
• Format: Hybrid (In-person & Online via Zoom)
• Participants: Former international students, and current/former faculty and staff of Kagoshima University
• Participants Fee: Free of charge, light refreshments provided (including halal options)
• Program:
  11:00-12:00 Ceremony (Opening remarks, congratulatory addresses from guests, reports on the establishment of country-specific alumni associations, etc.)
  12:30-15:00 Social Gathering (Video messages, free discussion, etc.)

Note 1: There is no participation fee. However, participants are expected to cover their own travel-related expenses to Japan, such as flight and accommodation arrangements.

Note 2: Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to Japan, including flight and accommodation bookings.
