University Recommendation(Research Students)

In this UNIVERSITY RECOMMENDATION category, Kagoshima University recommends to the Japanese Government (MEXT), the international students newly coming from overseas as candidates of Japanese Government Scholarship Students. Primarily, the applicants shall be from the sister universities or the universities which have academic exchange agreements with Kagoshima University. (MEXT stands for Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.)

Application Guidelines for Japanese Government(MEXT) International Research Student Scholarship for 2024 (University Recommendation)

1.Qualifications
① Applicants must meet all conditions indicated in the MEXT guideline. The English Guideline for Special Admission is available just for complementary use only. (English Guidline)

② Applicants must have earned a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.30 or above in their degreed (for those who are employed) or currently enrolled courses, and be able to maintain that GPA while receiving the scholarship.
