Exchange Students
Exchange Students are Credited Auditors who are dispatched on the basis of an Student Exchange Agreement from universities which have concluded an Academic Exchange Agreement with Kagoshima University. Exchange Students who pass term-end examinations etc. can earn credits, and can apply to their home universities for accreditation of the credits as part of their requirements. Exchange Research Students, who conduct research under academic advisors, can audit classes. Exchange Students do not have to pay application, admission and tuition fees. The number of those students must be within the number designated in the Agreement.
- Qualifications
- Those eligible are foreign students who wish to come to Japan on the basis of an Academic Exchange Agreement which has been concluded between Kagoshima University and their home university, or between a faculty of Kagoshima University and a faculty of their home university.
- Application and Selection
- Students should apply to the office in charge at their home university. Kagoshima University selects students by screening, on the basis of recommendations by home universities.
