Vietnam International Alumni

Following the establishment of the China Alumni and Indonesia Alumni in 2025, the Kagoshima University Vietnam International Alumni was established in August 2026 as the University's third Country-Specific Overseas Alumni Association.

On September 1, a certificate of establishment was presented to Vice President Le Thi Yen (Completed the Graduate School of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries) and Secretary-General Nguyen Quynh Mai (Completed the Graduate School of Education), who visited the International Cooperation Division.

Vice President Le explained that alumni who were close former classmates would get together about once a year in the past, but recently, as everyone had become busy, they had been unable to meet. She expressed her happiness that the establishment of the Vietnam International Alumni would provide an opportunity for everyone to gather again, including through events such as Homecoming Day.

The establishment of the Vietnam International Alumni is expected to further strengthen and develop friendship between Kagoshima University and its former international students in Vietnam, as well as Networking among the former international students themselves.

Kagoshima University will continue to promote collaboration with its former international students and others.
