Support Program for International Students Living in Private Rental Houses

Kagoshima University will provide international students living in private houses with financial support in the academic year of 2016. Applicants should be either of the following: 1) or 2),

 

1) International students registered as regular students in the faculties and graduate schools in Sakuragaoka area. They should have concluded a lease contract with private rental houses in Kagoshima prefecture. MEXT scholarship students are not eligible.

 

2) International students who entered into Kagoshima University in the academic year of 2016 as regular students in the faculties and graduate schools on any campus other than Sakuragaoka. They should have concluded a lease contract with private rental houses in Kagoshima prefecture. MEXT scholarship students are not eligible. Students at the United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences whose hosting institution is Kagoshima University are eligible.

 

The amount of the financial support for applicants will be determined according to the provisions of the university. The following application documents (①~④) should be submitted to the International Student Office.

④A copy of bankbook

Period for submission:  from 12 December 2016 to 13 January 2017

*The office is closed from 28 December 2016 to 3 January 2017

 

Students who have lived in International Residence Hall or dormitories in the academic year of 2016 cannot apply for this support program.
