Support Program for International Students Living in Private Rental Houses

Kagoshima University will provide international students living in private houses with financial support program in the academic year of 2015. Applicants should be either of the following two categories: 1) or 2),

 

1) International students registered as regular students in the Faculties and Graduate Schools in the Sakuragaoka area. They should have concluded a lease contract with private rental houses in Kagoshima prefecture. MEXT scholarship students are not eligible.

 

2) International students who entered into Kagoshima University in the academic year of 2015 as regular students in the Faculties and Graduate Schools on any campus other than Sakuragaoka. They should have concluded a lease contract with private rental houses in Kagoshima prefecture. MEXT scholarship students are not eligible. United Graduate School of Agriculture Sciences students whose hosting institution is Kagoshima University are eligible.

 

The amount of the financial support for applicants will be determined according to the provisions of the University. The following application documents (①~④) should be submitted to the International Student Office.

③Application form for banking transfer(Download)

④A copy of bankbook

Period for submission:  from March 4 to March 14,2016

 

Students, who have lived in International Residence Hall or Dormitories in the academic year of 2015, cannot apply for this support program.
